The EMPI Aluminum Door Handle Guards install behind the door handles in 1968 through 1970 VW Beetles. The door handle guards help protect the cup behind the handle from getting scratched by fingernails and fingers reaching in to open the door. As the early handles do not have a front mount, a dab of silicone at the front edge can help in securing the guards to the door.
