  • 82 mm Stroke x 90.5 mm Bore
  • 40 mm Intake & 35.5 mm Exhaust Valves

The longer 82 mm stroke provides even more torque. Especially good for cars with larger tires or extra weight.  This engine is identical to our 2180 with the exception of the slightly smaller bore and thicker cylinders for better heat dissipation.

In an effort to massage every ounce of power from a VW engine, we extensively modify the crankcase, crankshaft, connecting rods and cylinder heads. Special forged aluminum pistons, GEX 110 cam and polished stainless steel racing valves make this engine a tough combination to beat.  This engine is not intended for a daily driver.

The long stroke with the very large bore make this the most powerful engine combination available from GEX. Virtually the same as the 2180 with an even bigger bore for more explosive power. Only for the serious power enthusiast. This engine is not intended for a daily driver.
