This fitting is used when a straight fitting will not fit due to clearance issues.

The male part of this fitting will screw into a 3/8″ tapped hole (for example a full-flow tapped case, oil filter head or thermostat).

The female part of this fitting them allows you to screw a 3/8″ NPT barb fitting into it which you can then attach your oil hose.
