AA Complete Clutch Kit 200mm Type 1, 2, & 3 Early 67 to 70

This clutch kit is designed to work with transmission up to 1970 that do not have the guide tube for the throwout bearing.

Kit Includes:
• (1) Diaphragm Style Pressure Plate
• (1) Throwout Bearing
• (1) Clutch Disc
• (1) Clutch Alignment Tool
• (2) Throwout Bearing Clips

Tech Tip: Volkswagen used a 180mm pressure plate and flywheel on all 6 volt motors and cars until 1966. In 1967, they converted to 12 volt and increased the pressure plate and flywheel size to 200mm for all motors and cars. Over the years some cars were converted to 12 volt and while doing this they also converted the flywheel from the 180mm to 200mm. Your car could have this conversion so please be sure to check closely before ordering. Another area of concern is the throwout bearing. Transmissions produced after 1970 had a guide tube for the throwout bearing to ride on.
